Meet Your Coach

Sarah Braden has 13 years of running experience and 3 years of coaching experience. She is Level 1 coaching certified through the Road Runner’s Club of America (RRCA). Her coaching philosophy is two-fold:

Show Up Everyday

Show Out on Race Day

She believes that consistency is key. Big goals don’t happen without making small steps worth of progress over time. Lacing up for a 10-minute run is better than a 0-minute run, full stop. She will kindly encourage consistency through motivation, patience, empathy, and excitement. Through her training, runners make progress towards their goals by slowly incrementing volume and intensity slowly, as to build confidence and avoid burnout.

Easy Miles Easy

Tough Miles Strong

Easy miles are just as beneficial as tough miles; Sarah’s coaching prescribes the majority of weekly miles as Easy, with a smaller portion being higher intensity. This ensures that progress happens with minimal risk of injury or burnout. Runners who learn to embrace easy miles progress more quickly, and with more confidence. Sarah pushes her athletes through high-intensity sessions with intentionality; finding their edge without crossing it.
